About me
My name is Ciara (pronounced Keer-rah) I’m a birth and postpartum doula. When i’m not in birth space or supporting mother’s postpartum I’m raising my two daughters here in Western Sydney. You won’t see me without my emotional support water bottle and a cup of coffee.
I have gone through pregnancy, birth and postpartum twice first as a 18 year old, then again as a 24 year old (with a fully developed frontal lobe *I think*) so I often reflect on what I feel was missing in the care provided both during pregnancy and postpartum. My goal is for women to take what they need from my care, to feel nurtured, loved and supported. My faith is a crucial part of my life. Honesty, integrity and patience are some of my most important values.
Amanah Birthing was born in 2022 after the birth of my second daughter. It was a healing experience that ignited my passion for all things birth and postpartum. We can pass down generational healing and education, so that our daughters do not fear birth but lean into their intuition, knowledge and strength .
I have supported hospital births, home births, VBAC’s so if you’re wondering if we’re a good fit, book a connection call and we can have a chat and a laugh together.
